PLA 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm ±0.02mm · six product lines · from CNY 27/kg · factory direct
From standard PLA/PLA+ to silk, dual-colour, glow-in-the-dark and marble, Kunshan 3D Seeker runs its own formulation and ten production lines. We supply distributors, cross-border sellers and factories with consistent filament batches, and support private label, colour matching and packaging customisation.
Six lines, fromvisual models to functional parts
PLA is the most widely used FDM material: low odour, minimal warping, good dimensional stability and crisp detail. Beyond standard PLA we offer several modified routes that print with the same settings, so you can switch effects without re-tuning profiles.
PLA / PLA+
Balanced strength, stiffness and toughness with a smooth surface. Suitable for décor, props, lighting, toys, models and functional parts.
CNY 27–30/kgSilk PLA / PLA+
Silky gloss and saturated colour, 18+ shades available. Popular for figurines, cosplay props and gift models.
CNY 27–30/kgDual-colour Silk PLA
Two colours transition along the filament. Red-gold, blue-green and purple-gold combinations, or custom pairings.
CNY 29–32/kgGlow-in-the-dark PLA
Charges under daylight or UV and glows in the dark. Blue and green, ideal for night lights, safety signs and novelty prints.
CNY 31/kgMarble PLA
Natural marble-like texture in white, grey or custom shades. High-speed friendly, suited to architectural models and sculptures.
CNY 32/kgMatte & custom effects
Matte, metallic and gradient effects developed in-house, with our own compounding line and colour lab.
Quoted per projectPrices shown are for domestic orders and include tax and freight within China. For export we quote FOB or CIF based on destination port and order volume.

Recommended settingsand troubleshooting
| Parameter | Recommended | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-drying | 55 °C · 8 h | Optional for fresh spools; advised in humid climates |
| Nozzle temperature | 200–230 °C (220 °C) | Use the upper end for high speed |
| Bed temperature | 55–65 °C (60 °C) | Improves first-layer adhesion |
| Print speed | 50–300 mm/s | Start at 80–150 mm/s |
| Retraction | 3–5 mm at 20–100 mm/s | Reduces stringing and oozing |
| Overhang threshold | 60° | Add supports beyond this angle |
| Support material | Water-soluble PVA | Dissolves away on complex geometry |
| Bed surface | Masking tape / glass / glue stick | Choose per material and machine |
Common issues and fixes
- Poor first-layer adhesion: raise the bed to 65 °C, slow the first layer to 20 mm/s, use glue stick or masking tape.
- Heavy stringing: increase retraction to 5 mm, drop the nozzle to 205 °C, check for moisture.
- Weak layer bonding: raise nozzle temperature by 5–10 °C, reduce layer height and part cooling.
- Bubbles and rough surface: usually moisture — dry at 55 °C for 8 hours.

PLA filamentquestions
What is the difference between PLA and PLA+?
Standard PLA is the easiest to print, with low odour and the lowest cost — ideal for display models and prototypes. PLA+ adds toughening agents, reaching 60–65 MPa tensile strength and 20–30% elongation at break, so it resists brittle failure and suits semi-functional parts. Both print in the same 200–230 °C window.
What diameter tolerance do you hold?
Standard diameter is 1.75mm with ±0.02mm tolerance, monitored inline by laser gauges across the whole line, which prevents jams, under-extrusion and stringing. 2.85mm and 3.0mm are available on request.
What print settings do you recommend?
Nozzle 200–230 °C (220 °C recommended), bed 55–65 °C (60 °C recommended), speed 50–300 mm/s, retraction 3–5mm at 20–100 mm/s. Use masking tape, glass or glue stick on the bed; overhang threshold is about 60°.
What spool sizes and prices are available?
1kg spools are standard, with 3kg, 5kg and 10kg available at the same unit price, saving spool changes on long runs. PLA/PLA+ is CNY 27–30/kg, glow-in-the-dark CNY 31/kg and marble CNY 32/kg. Export orders are quoted FOB or CIF on request.
How should I store the filament and what if it absorbs moisture?
Keep unopened spools vacuum-sealed. Once opened, store in a sealed box with desiccant below 40% RH. If you hear popping, see bubbles or excessive stringing, dry the spool at 55 °C for 8 hours before use.
Do you offer OEM, private label and custom colours?
Yes. With our own compounding lines we handle private label, custom packaging, colour matching and effect development (silk, dual-colour, glow, marble, matte). MOQ and lead time depend on the specification; samples can be sent first.
